Me and a friend want to interrail using a 10 in 22 day ticket, visiting the following cities:
Paris (start point)
Berlin
Prague
Vienna?
Budapest
Munich?
Milan
Barcelona

We wondered if this combination of cities would be possible? We know that it will Be a whistle-stop tour of many of them but we are hoping to catch night trains etc to save time.

Having particular issues with getting from Milan to Barcelona!

Hi!

There are no night trains from Paris to Germany anymore which means you would have to travel this leg during the day - this takes rather long so if you want you could think about adding another stop in between; this could be either in Germany or in the Benelux countries. You may also think about rearranging the trip a little by going from Paris to Barcelona in the beginning and end the trip in another city (or the other way round). :arr: https://rail.cc/blog/little-yellow-train-video/

If you want to use night trains on the middle part of the trip you will have to rearrange the route a bit. Have a look at the available night trains here: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train

To get from Milan to Barcelona you could either think about taking the ferry from Livorno: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-ferry/livorno-barcelona/italy-spain/24
Or you have to travel along the Mediterranean coast via Nice - Marseille - Montpellier - Perpignan - Cerbere - Portbou - Girona; this would require at least one intermediate stop and if you want to visit one of the cities along the way you should at least calculate with three days.
