Hello.

I wasn't sure if this should go in equipment or other themes, but I'll put it here for now...

I'm going interrailling this summer for the first time, and was just wondering about taking drugs, like headache pills and hayfever pills and stuff through to other countries from the UK. It's not like we'd be taking a lot, but my husband suffers from headaches quite often, so we have to make sure we have some pills with us pretty much all the time.

Just wondered if there was a limit to the amount of drugs you can take to certain countries? We'll be going to Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, The Netherlands and Belgium.

Thanks!

Hi.

If you have some special drugs for your personal needs, I never heard that you will have problem within the European Union.

just on the topic of medication as well...would it seem wierd if i had loads of packs of tablets but not in boxes when my rucksack's scanned at airports? boxes obviously take up space but i've got anti-histamines, paracetomol, diarrhoea tablets (just in case) and dehydration tablets, but if they're all not in boxes, will it seem suspicious (even though the film text could probably be seen with scanners)? just to check...

Can anyone recommend any extremely powerful anti-histimines?
