I want to travel by ptp train tickets. But, the prices i see on websites are too expensive. Should i buy my tickets from station for cheaper tickets?
Or if i change my question, travelling by bus would be a mistake? Bus tickets are much cheaper. But, they have really bad fame here. Does it deserve to give a try?
Thanks for suggestions! :)

Hi!
Where did you look for train tickets?
Budapest - Wien: From 13€ on [ux]https://rail.shop/mav[/ux]
Wien - Munich/Nürnberg: Probably from 29€ on [ux]https://rail.shop/oebb[/ux] or [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux]
> You can also buy a through ticket Budapest - Wien - Munich/Nuremberg on [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux] - you can enter up to 2x48 hours stopover time in Vienna.
Munich/Nürnberg - Karlovy Vary: Bayern-Böhmen Ticket for 26€, available locally at stations, valid Mo-Fr from 0900, weekends 24h; no ICE/IC/EC/RJ in Bayern
Karlovy - Vary - Prague: from 170 CZK online at [u]https://rail.shop/cd[/ux] or locally from 322 CZK
Prague - Wroclaw: from 481 CZK online at [ux]https://rail.shop/cd[/ux]
Note that most of these tickets will be no-flexible and you will booked on a certain train and date.
I cant tell you much about buses on these routes as we are focused on train travel ;)

for your routing only KV-Prahy the BUS is a much better alternative: much, much quikcer, cheaper too and comfy., 2 competing lines run ev hour-juyst go to busstation and buy. This is becse train makes a long roundabout route here.
In Europe there are quite a few railway-mad people who think that buses are the reason that some trains are withdrawn and thus they hate them. Others are more sensible and take a realistic look and choose then.
(strange: now I suddenly get all the deutsche worte around this.....
