I have found on this site a train departing Vigo, Spain at 9:55 a.m. to Oporto, Portugal. But this train will not come up on the Renfe or CP or DB sites. This is identified as a regional train and it supposedly runs every day. Does anyone know the train number? Price?
Any suggestion regarding how to make it come up on one of these sites in order to purchase it?
This is the only train that I can find/connect to that can get me from Santiago de Compostela to Oporto before late evening. The early train from Santiago gets in too late to take the first train from Vigo. Other thoughts?
Thank you!

Hi!
The morning connecting service has been retimed and now departs at 0920 already; I have updated the timetable accordingly: https://rail.cc/en/train/vigo-to-porto
On the RENFE website you will only find the direct Celta services, the slower connections where you have to change trains are only shown until the border - you have to click on all stations, then look for Valenza do Minho, this is the Portuguese border station. The RENFE website is well known for its usability. ;)
Anyway, you can find the complete schedule on the CP website: http://cp.pt/StaticFiles/Passageiros/horarios/horarios/PDF/r_ir_uc/porto_valenca.pdf
But everything important is also here on railcc in the above link.
Regarding your route from Santiago, there is an early train to Vigo arriving in time to connect to the Celta train:
Santiago 0619 - 0743 Vigo
Vigo 0902 - 1018 Porto
As mentioned above, RENFE website is a bit tricky, for instance connecting services are very rarely shown.
Tickets for both Santiago - Vigo as well as Vigo - Porto are available on the RENFE website; note that you have to book two separate tickets. Overall fare will be around 25€. You can also buy the tickets locally, the trains wont sell out, no worries.
