Hi, I'm planning an inter-rail trip with my friends for the first time. The inter-rail website is pretty terrible in regards to journey planning and even though I've planned a route I think is possible, I'm really not sure how to do it or if I've completely missed something that means I have to re-plan. This is my journey at the moment: Brussels>Amsterdam>Berlin>Prague>Munich>Budapest(via Vienna)>Vienna>Venice>Florence>Rome- Each arrow is travel day (I realize that this only uses nine out of ten travel days so any advice on another stop would be really welcome) Thank you in advance for any advice or help :D

Hi.
Very easy to do. Also have a look at the schedule examples here: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route

Brussels - Amsterdam: avoid the Thalys and travel for free - https://rail.cc/blog/amsterdam-brussels-train/
Amsterdam - Berlin: free by day train IC.
Berlin - Prague: free direct trains. Sit on the left.
Prague - Munich: free by direct train
Munich - Vienna: free by direct train (Railjet)
Vienna - Budapest: free by direct train (Railjet)
Budapest - via Zagreb to Ljubljana/Lake Bled: free
Ljubljana/Lake Bled - Venice: https://rail.cc/blog/travel-lake-bled-train/
Venice-Florence-Rome: possible by free regional trains - or IC trains (EUR 3, available at ticket machines in Italy, select Global Pass or High-speed-trains for EUR 10 - as well available at ticket machines).

Of course it is possible to change your route a bit more... include Krakow for example or this route crossing the Alps: https://rail.cc/blog/zurich-milano-albula-bernina/

To support the free information and the forum on railcc, please be fair and buy your official Interrail pass via our railcc partner link: [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]
Thank you! :)

Peter :)
