Hello all,
This is my first post here. I am currently about to embark on my own little European adventure and would appreciate any advice on train journeys, connections, and supplements for my route.
I would really appreciate suggestions on the best routes to take! I might seem to be rushing so suggestions are welcome. I have an odd situation with Cologne/Düsseldorf/Hanover - I might visit all three, or I may skip two and head to third - suggestions?
it is quite an ambitious route so far. I have made accommodation bookings via a booking website but this offers free cancellation so I can always change my route.
I am going for the 10 days in 22 Interail pass and my plan looks like this so far. I have not made any plans for the final few days of my trip.
I would like potentially to use local train fars/deals/tickets on short/cheap routes (Vienna > Bratislava?) to free up more 'travel days' for my pass.

Hi.
Just let me know your order-PNR beginning with AA of your Interrail pass purchase via the railcc partner link [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]
Then I can set your profile to PLUS for a detailed answer. :)
Thank you to be fair and to support all the free information on railcc and the forum . If you bought your Interrail pass somewhere else, please ask there for help as railcc is not the support of other companies.
London-Amsterdam: there are cheap Rail&Fly offers available - no need to take a flight. Especially you start from the city center of London to the city center of Amsterdam. Save the money and time to get from/to the airports.
Cologne/Düsseldorf: both are nice with a good options to go out in the night. But don't do both in one day, will be too much.
Cologne-Hanover/Berlin: it makes no sense to take a night train. Use a free day train.
Fuessen: one day is enough, no need to stay two nights.
Then you have several options in this area. You could also change your route a bit, including the free passage of the Alps (amazing), Lake Bled in Slovenia, or several other cities in Southern Germany...
Peter :)
