I would be interested to experience a ferry from Greece to Italy, and found this ferry from Patras to Ancona. Have anyone something to say about it? And what does it actually cost if I would go in september? I found a text like this here on railcc:
Anek Superfast Ferries

Tickets are available directly in the office at the port.
Online booking information:

its NOT free- further on it states you have to pay the porttaxes and the fuel supplmt and in season a high-season supplmt. In every harbour you pass dozens of agents very willing to do that for you for a small fee. you canNOT book that way online- you youngees really have to learn how this world once worked, nah?
The eternal fear that its full is utter nonsense-thats more for cars and caravans. There are loads of ferries from GR to IT and this is just 1. It is also by far not the shortest-those go to Brindisi or Bari, and about all are overnite and elder ships.

Thank you for the answer!
But could you offer some of the other ferries which are cheaper, or?
