Hi

I have been looking around about reservations for Interrail travellers. As far as I can see it is not possible to make reservations on some trains online but here via the railcc site it is.

For example the night train from Munich to Zagreb is possible to make a reservation via railcc links but not at [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux]

How come this works? I am a bit concerned that the reservation want be made eve if a do it here. Someone please explain :)

Hi.
Deutsche Bahn is a German company, the night train is a Croatian one. Therefor you can not reserve it on Bahn.
railcc offers the link to an international booking system of ACP Rail: [ux]https://rail.shop/acprail/reservation[/ux]

Alright!

That means I can make the reservation thru ACP and do not have to make the reservation at the trainstation?
Just want to be sure my reservation goes thru and I am not standing at the station without a reservation?

Is the reservations shipped or can i print them myself?

Yes, you could do that. Reservations will be shipped, no home-printing possible.
Keep in mind though that the reservation might be cheaper at a train stations due to the extra handling fees when purchasing over ACP.

You're welcome! It would be of course great if you would support us as well by purchasing your Interrail pass via [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] ;)

Regarding the night train...you can never predict 100% when and if a train is fully booked, but usually on weekends there are more people on the train and you might book at least one week ahead (this also depends on the category of accomodation you want to book).

Hi again!
We are currently in Amsterdam and have tried to make a reservation at Amsterdam centralstation. However it was not possible they said. Shouldnt it be possible at a big station as Amsterdam to make the reservation? Do we have to wait until we are in München to make this reservation and maybe miss the connection due to fully booked?

Thanks for your help :)

Hmm...I dont know why it didnt work at Amsterdam, I hope you did not have to wait too long... :(

You can then only try to make the reservation en route to Munich or as last resort directly in Munich.
