Hi guys (Peter),

I'm thinking of getting a 10 in 22 pass and I'd like to visit central and eastern Europe. I'm from London, so I'm thinking of starting my journey off by taking a bus (Megabus) to Amsterdam or Paris. I would like a mix of city life and natural beauty, so I definitely want to visit Prague, Croatia and hopefully go to Bled if time allows. Night life isn't that biggest deal to me, but I would like to experience some of it - I am not a particularly heavy drinker so I'm not going on this trip for cheap booze! To me the cultural side is very important, so any help with a travel route would be swell.

Cheers!

Hi!

Do you have any more particular places in mind where you want to go? Where do you want to end up and how do you want to go home?

Apart from the bus options, you could also look into the Dutchflyer ferry: https://rail.cc/blog/from-london-to-amsterdam-with-the-dutchflyer/
If you start in Amsterdam, you could then take the night train to Prague; then head to Cesky Krumlov/Lipno Dam, continue to Salzkammergut (Hallstatt, Gmunden, Bad Ischl, Bad Goisern, Dachstein(höhlen)), before going to Slovenia for Ljubljana and Lake Bled (with a possible stopover in Salzburg/Wien/Graz moreorless en route). If you want to go to Croatia, you could make a day trip by bus from Zagreb to Plitvice Lakes.
Depeding on how you want to return back home you could then either head towards Italy and Switzerland (scenic route: https://rail.cc/blog/zurich-milano-albula-bernina/) or continue towards Eastern Europe: Serbia, Montenegro, Bulgaria are all great places; as are Hungary, Romania or Slovakia...

Just some suggestions to start with... :)
