Sleeper train ticket - Budapest to Krakow

I am trying to book a sleeper for next month from Budapest to Krakow but am being told that I can not do this online or on the phone. That is, I need to go to the station to do it. This is difficult as I am currently in Australia. Can anyone explain this? I do not have a rail pass as this is the only train trip I plan on making in Europe; just need a point to point ticket with a sleeper reservation.

Hi Rob,

I dont know what the issue is at the moment; via [ux]https://rail.shop/mav[/ux] you can purchase tickets for Budapest - Warsaw but not Budapest - Krakow. :?:
When do you want to travel and how long in advance would you stay in Budapest before heading for Krakow?
