Reservations needed: Munich-Budapest and Prague-Berlin

Hi,

I'm gonna travel from Munich-Budapest ( [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux] ) and Prague-Berlin ( [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux] ).
Several websites say that reservation is possible, but not required.
Is it really needed to make a reservation, or does it not matter?
