Hi guys,
Our trip is going fantastically, but I am trying to reserve our TGV from Nice to Lyon, for 6 people, but the only option on the english site is to have the tickets posted to you which we cant do!
I dont really want to leave it till we arrive in nice as that is only 2 days before we travel.
Is it possible to book TGV in Italy? Or is there a particular part of the French website where I can boook them now and collect them in Nice?
PS: Bled is unbelivable!!!!!

Hi.
You can buy the reservation in Italy at a railway station.
If you want to avoid reservation fees, have a look at this free connection - slower, but free:
Nice dep 08:55 - free regional train
Marseille-St-Charles arr 11:29
Marseille-St-Charles dep 13:06 - free regional train
Lyon Part Dieu arr 16:40
What date you want to travel?
Still have a lot of fun...! :)
Peter :)

Take the slower regional train as Peter suggested; you could also make a longer stop in Marseille for the day, really worth it IMO; from Marseille to Lyon there are hourly regional trains with timings similar to the one posted above as well as TGV; from Marseille to Nice the TGV are not faster as regional trains.

Thanks guys, it actually worked out great, we are taking a regional from Nice to Marseille, and the way the timings worked out it made more sense for us to use TGV to Lyon and then regional to Annecy, we had to be there by 1930, so for the sake of 6euro it was worth it.
So sad my trip is nearly at an end

So you got reservations for 6€? That's fine. :)
Where did you buy them?
...so you could already start planning your next trip then. :)

6euro yes, we bought them in Nice on the 9th for travel on the 11th. So I was kinda surprised they were still available. It worked out quite well.
Completely. :) I have the bug now :D on each train me and my friend have been looking at the map thinking about different routes we could try in the next few months. :) . Realistically my Halloween break will be spent on a tour :P
