The Good News: There is a regularly scheduled flight from Molde to Seattle, WA area at an amazing price several times a week!
The Bad News: The Options I've found for Getting to Mhttps://rail.cc/en/night-train/sweden/seE: Really Expensive (fly or ferry) or Still Not Cheap & a Really Long Bus trip & If it has to be long, I'd really prefer the rail to bus any day.... (Worst part I'm trying to get there from Germany & there's a cheap flight to Haugesund or little bit higher price flt to Oslo or Stockholm but like I said train routes/tickets from Haugesund & Oslo to Molde are eluding me/not listed)!!
I was hoping it would more clear here on this website, but so far I'm still not seeing it, so please help! For Instance the Norway night trains page does not mention it & Molde doesn't show up on this forum via a search either. :?:

Hi!

Well...the answer is simple: Molde does not have a rail connection; the closest station would be Andalsnes on the Rauma line (branch line of the Oslo - Trondheim main line).
You can find schedules to Andalsnes here on the website; for buses Andalsnes - Molde look here:
http://www.frammr.no/ (type in Ã…ndalsnes jernb.st. (Rauma) to Molde).

it mostly makes no sense at all to go to such faraway places to catch supposedly cheap flites: the cost of getting to those airports east up any saving-and you loose the time. ANY european will know that NO out of EU is superexpensive-often even more as Swiss.
You CAN-with luck+patience, sometimes get cheap-ish tickets on NSB-from 99 NOK via their site-no good, money gone.
You save the most on long flites by changing season and book longer advance. NOrwegian is the cheap airline in NO-like the local RYAN
