Hi,

me and my boyfriend plan on travelling Italy with a one country pass this August. Now, we were looking into the trains we would have to use and the reservation fees are 14€ or 10€ each. Is that normal? Because in Austria fees are like 3€.

We are planning to go from :
Innsbruck - Florence - Rome - Naples - Venice - Innsbruck

Hi!

Reservation fares for trains in Italy when bought at a station: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/italy/it

It is no problem to prebook hostels; there are frequent trains between all cities and you can always find available seats to get from one city to another (or travel with regional trains without compulsory reservation).

To support the free information and the forum on railcc, please be fair and buy your official Interrail pass via our railcc partner link: [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]
Thank you! :)
