Hey everybody
This is my 1st time to ever use a forum and it's also my 1st time to ever do a travel holiday.
So, I've posted our intended route. It's myself & 2 friends. The 3 of us are planning on covering this over 2 weeks in September.
So all you seasoned travellers out there might have some words of wisdom for us as to whether this is a good route to take or are we being way too ambitious.............

Many thanks to you all :D

Hi!

This is a good route to cover within two weeks - you could think about getting a 5in10 InterRail pass which would cover the complete route if you spend 2 days in Venice before travelling and 2 days in Amsterdam after the ticket has expired. Also, you should head to Croatia prior to Vienna - where exactly do you want to go in Croatia?

An alternative to InterRail would be to go with regular tickets bought in advance where possible:

Venice - Croatia: Buy locally
Croatia - Vienna: Locally
Vienna - Prague: [ux]https://rail.shop/oebb[/ux]
Prague - Berlin: [ux]https://rail.shop/cd[/ux] or [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux]
Berlin - Amsterdam: [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux] or [ux]https://rail.shop/nsinternational[/ux]

Thanks very much for that, Flow.
The girls are coming up to me this evening and we are going to see what there is to see & do and where to stay.
Have no idea where to hit in any of the places......!!

OK, keep in mind that most of the beaches in Croatia are quite a long way from both Venice and Vienna...you could think about getting to Pula in Istria though, or to the Rijeka area. Split/Dubrovnik are just too far off your route IMO, especially if you want to spend reasonable time in the other places as well.

To support the free information and the forum on railcc, please be fair and buy your official Interrail pass via our railcc partner link: [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]
Thank you! :)
