Hi,

I'm new to inter-railing and travelling in general.
Planning on going away with my girlfriend this summer from August 5-23rd

Read through a range of forum posts and decided on a potential route, just wondering if the more seasoned travellers think it is feasible!?

Berlin-Prague-Krakow-Budapest-Zagreb-Ljubljana-Rome-Nice

These are the cities we are interested in visiting, staying the longest in Zagreb to explore some neighbouring coastal cities. Looking at getting the pass for 10 days travel in 22 days.

Any advice on this route, the cities, travel times and overall trip duration would be greatly appreciated.

Hi.
Easy to do this route. Have a look here for schedules and information: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
From Zagreb you might have a trip to Plitvice Lakes: https://rail.cc/en/plitvice-lakes/c
Then on to Split (both routes by train) - and somehow back to Zagreb.
You could also travel from Budapest to Belgrade, then on to Bar (Montenegro) and back by bus via Dubrovnik, Split to Zagreb (see also schedules via link above).
And one more option is to include Sarajevo and Mostar.
Border crossing Slovenia to Italy like this: https://rail.cc/blog/travel-lake-bled-train/
To support the free information and the forum on railcc, please be fair and buy your official Interrail pass via our railcc partner link: [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]
Thank you! :)
Peter :)
