Hi guys,

my question is not really train-related, but I gonna ask it anyway ;)
This summer, me and my friends taking the nighttrain from Oslo to Finse (taking the Bergen Line). In the little town of Finse we start a 3-day hiketrip through the wilderness. Is there a store in Finse where we can buy supplies for the following days? We arrive in Oslo by plain in the evening and there is not much time to catch the train. So shopping in Oslo isn't an option. Most of the stores will be closed by then...

Hope you guys can help me!

Hej,

as far as I know there is no supermarket in Finse, just a small shop in one of the hotels close to the stations.
In Oslo S there is a Rimi supermarket next to platforms 1/2, open till 0100 (midnight on Sunday) so you should be able to shop there before going onboard the night train - this should work even if you arrive late by plane? :)
