Hi everyone. I am going away for 3 weeks with my friend and we are planning on visiting Berlin, Prague, Krakow, Budapest and then to Rovinj in Croatia where we will be attending Unknown Festival. We are slightly stumped on which ticket it would be best to purchase...
We fly to Berlin from London on the 26th August and are planning to spend 3/4 days in each city before getting to the festival on the 12th September.

If anyone was willing to help out it would be much appreciated :)
If you require and further information just let me know.
Many thanks! :D

Hi Holly!

You could think about the InterRail 5in10 ticket (to support the free information on railcc, please buy via [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] - thank you) which could cover all trips inclunding Budapest - Zagreb/Ljubljana/Rijeka (before heading to Rovinj) and one spare trip (Vienna?), however you would have to squeeze all places within the 10 day validity period so I am not sure if it is the right choice for you.
The alternative would be to buy single tickets:
Berlin - Prague: [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux]
Prague - Krakow: [u]https://rail.shop/cd[/ux]
Krakow - Budapest: locally in Poland; special fare tickets are available from 29€ but with a 3 day booking period. You could also rearrange your trip which can work out a bit cheaper
Berlin - Krakow by IC bus of Deutsche Bahn: [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux]
Krakow - Prague: locally in Poland
Prague - Budapest: [u]https://rail.shop/cd[/ux]
Budapest - Ljubljana/Zagreb: locally in Hungary
Rovinj has no rail connections; the closest station is Kanfanar on the line to Pula; buses run Pula - Rovinj; I dont know about Kanfanar - Rovinj buses.
Train tickets to Kanfanar/Rovinj are best purchased locally.

Wow this is really detailed and so useful thanks so much! We were planning on doing 3 days in each city so do you think we would be able to fit this in the 5 in 10 pass? Also for the alternative options which include buses - is it substantially cheaper? The main thing we want really is the shortest journey times possible.

once again thanks so much!

26/8: Berlin
27/8: Berlin
28/8: Berlin
29/8: Berlin
30/8: Berlin and early morning train to Prague
31/8: Prague
01/9: Prague and night train to Krakow
02/9: Krakow
03/9: Krakow
04/9: Krakow and night train to Budapest
05/9: Budapest
06/9: Budapest
07/9: Budapest and afternoon train to Vienna
08/9: Vienna and afternoon train to Zagreb, end of InterRail
09/9: Zagreb
10/9: Zagreb
11/9: Zagreb - Rijeka - Pula with tickets bought locally
12/9: Pula - Rovinj by bus

This would be the best use of the 5in10 in your timeframe; Krakow - Praha should be 43€ one way; Krakow - Budapest 85€ (regular fare), the remainding trips can be calculated with the links above - note that the cheap special fares usually have a limited booking period and availability as well as limited return/refund policies.
I included Vienna since you need to include this one extra stop to make full use of the 5 travel days of your pass to get the most out of it.
