Hi,
About a month before leaving for my first interrail trip I booked a reservation from Prague to Krakow night train. I paid £45 which included a £7.57 service fee. Now when reading the reservation it says a couchette mixed T4 02 Upper.
£45 in euros is a lot more than a couchette. I'm adamant I booked a sleeper 3 berth which makes sense with how much I paid. Now it looks like my ticket says couchette. Have I been ripped off? Is there any way I can get money back?
I specifically booked a sleeper with private wash facility for a reason on this trip - I paid as a guest account on the Czech site so cannot find a previous booking/invoice.
Has anyone had this issue? I booked this through
railcc link so would appreciate the help.

Hi!
Did you book on the Czech website through [ux]https://rail.shop/cd[/ux]?
Could you attach a picture of the reservation please? Or send it via mail to f at rail.cc

Hi.
You did not booked your reservation via the link above. You booked via [ux]https://rail.shop/acprail/reservation[/ux] - so it was not via Czech Railways, but via ACP. Your order is now three weeks ago and you travel tomorrow. Better to contact ACP directly if you are unhappy. But you only get what you select - and it seemed to be a 4 bed compartment, you see the price at your order, you see the number of beds in the compartment and you see the yellow box Note: the given prices may vary due to service or handling fees. Depending on whether you purchase the reservations/tickets online, at a ticket machine or at a railway station.
I don't want to be impolite: but you see everything before you make the final order. It is your decision if you want to buy that reservation or not. In the overview of the night train we link to [ux]https://rail.shop/cd[/ux] , where you get the reservation cheaper, not to rail.shop/acprail/reservation where you bought it. See here bellow the map: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train/prague-krakow-en-443/148
Anyway, have a sunny trip, Peter :)

That's ok, appreciate the response.
I have no idea which railcc link to book through by the way, they both say railcc and the bottom of my reservation is acp. Thought it was purchasing as I followed a link from that page you gave.
I'm positive I purchased a sleeper as that's I realised how cheap a couchette was and fancied upgrading.
Nothing I can do now but thanks for the advice

I absolutely understand that you are unhappy - as especially a reservation for this night train is cheaper to get via the link mentioned at the train information website ( https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train/prague-krakow-en-443/148 ) - or at stations.
It is always like this: reservations at stations are cheaper than purchased online. No one earns money with reservations, but has to pay the salary for the person printing out the ticket, putting it into a letter and to send it to the customer (to some countries shipping is even for free). Reservations via the link rail.shop/acprail/reservation are an extra service for users who support railcc with their rail pass purchase in the railcc shop. As we are a project and not a company, but have to pay the servers, the programming, the work to collect all the content which is free to read for everyone, we also have to earn money - and this is made for example via a partner like ACP giving us a small commission for sales.
No, it is not possible to get a refund this reservation, I'm sorry.
Peter :)
