Hey everyone! I am planning on traveling from Italy to Hungary, Bulgaria, and Turkey by train with a friend who is from the UK. He is eligible to purchase an InterRail pass, but as an American who is not living in Europe, I am not eligible to. The opposite is true for Eurail, where I can purchase it and he cannot. Is there anyway that we can book the same pass even though we are from different countries?

Hi.
Yes it is possible to travel together, one with Interrail, the other with Eurail. Note: some countries are not included in Eurail, but in Interrail. See information here on the website.
Interrail: https://rail.cc/en/interrail
Eurail: https://rail.cc/en/eurail

What is your exact route - I don\'t think it\'s worth to buy Interrail/Eurail passes for these countries. There is also an attractive and inexpensive Balcan Flexi Pass available.
Peter :)
