Brussels-Cologne-Berlin-Posnan-Bratislava-Zagreb-Rijeka-Split-Budapest

Is it possible to cover the regions in a 10 travel days within 22 days global pass or do I need to trim down the amount of places I want to visit?

Hi!

Bruxelles - Köln: Use one of the three daily ICE services (free of reservation); do not use Thalys trains as they require a very expensive reservation
Köln - Berlin: Hourly direct ICE services, no reservation required
Berlin - Poznan: Several daily direct EC (BWE/BGE) services, 4€ compulsory reservation
Poznan - Bratislava:
Poznan 0831 - 1107 Warszawa Centralna; EIC service compulsory reservation, free when made at a station in Poland
Warszawa Centralna 1153 - 1158 Breclav; EC service, 4€ compulsory reservation
Breclav 1857 - 1950 Bratislava; EC service no reservation required
Bratislava - Zagreb: Connections available either via Budapest or Wien; no reservatoin required
Zagreb - Rijeka: Several direct connections, no reservation required
Rijeka - Split: One day train connection with changes of trains in Ogulin and Karlovac, reservation (1€) required for Karlovac - Split; one night train connection with change of trains in Ogulin, no reservation required
Split - Budapest: Day and night connections available

Thanks very much for this Flo, it is a massive help.

How early do we have to book the reservations? and when you write things like 1157 etc are they times of train departures?

Thanks again

For these day trains it is usually sufficient to book reservations locally at a station, or a few days in advance depending on how flexible you would like to be.
You can also book most trips from abroad, for instance from Warszawa to Breclav in Berlin; the free reservations for domestic travel in Poland are only available in Poland, as domestic reservations for Croatia for 1€ are only available in Croatia.

1157 and so on are train timings, yes.
