Hi,

I've recently ordered & received my pass, however, i have noticed that there is a slight mistake (on my part).

I am originally from Poland, my name is Michał, however, I've always translated my name into 'Michael'. This lead me to book my ticket under the name 'Michael' instead of 'Michał' (which is what my passport shows). Will I be required to rebook my ticket and send this one in order to get a refund? I'll be starting my trip on 6th of June so I need to do it hastily.

Additionally, if I am required to rebook, will I be required to use the special letter 'ł' or should I go ahead with 'l'.

Thanks in advance

Hi Michael+Michał... :)

Please let me know your order-PNR of your Interrail pass purchase in the railcc-partner-shop at [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] - it is the one beginning with AA.
Send it to me by personal mail, then I can help you.

Thank you and best regards, Peter :)

Hi,

Sorry I don't quite understand what you mean by that. I can't find anything with 'AA'

The order-PNR is in the email confirmation of your Interrail pass purchase in the railcc-partner-shop at [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]
Or did you bought it somewhere else?

No problem to buy it there, but if you want support, you should ask there.
railcc is not the support of other companies. I'm sorry. :|
Also we need the support of Interrailers to continue with all the free information we offer here on railcc, pay the servers and so on. We can only help you, if you help us with your rail pass purchase via railcc. Thank you for understanding.
Peter :)

But to answer your question: a valid Interrail ticket requires the same name on it like it is written in the passport/travel document. Some train staff will understand and accept the wrong spelling - but others will not and then you have a problem as your Interrail pass will be declared as invalid.
