Hello all,

Am looking to get a 5 in 10 day pass for a 14 day trip. Ideally would start or end in Rome for a longer spell there.

Would also like to get Budapest in the route - can anyone suggest a good route for 4/5 stops, which are good travel destinations, and also not having terribly long travel days

Places to miss include Zagreb, Venice, Prague as have already been there

Currently considering Munich, Milan, Vienna, Belgrade, Zurich, Florence

Thanks

Hi.
Day 1: Rome to Milan (hugh speed, +EUR 10 reservation fee), then this free route to Zurich: [ux]https://rail.cc/blog/zurich-milano-albula-bernina/

Day 2: Zurich to Munich (free)

Day 3: Munich to Vienna (free)

Day 4: Vienna to Lake Bled (free)

Day 5: border crossing to Italy (free - https://rail.cc/blog/travel-lake-bled-train/ ) and to Florence

Florence to Rome by normal point to point ticket - order early and it is cheap ( [ux]https://rail.shop/omio[/ux] )

And if you like the free information and the forum on railcc, please support us with the purchase of your official Interrail pass on railcc. Thank you. :)

Peter :)

Thanks for the reply

To clarify - I would not like to both start and finish in Rome, I would like to start or finish in Rome

Okay. Then we have one point: ROME.
But I also need the other one - otherwise it is not possible to plan seriously. Thank you. :)

Day 5: Wien - Budapest

Of course you can travel more and longer distances, but also with longer journey times you will spent on trains.
