Hey dudes. 8)

I'm going on inter rail in august and need to know, what the fastest route to Greece are from Denmark.
As i have checked the shortest route is about +36h total in train and ferry? Sounds like a lot of time.. xo

Hope someone can help!

Hi.
Yes, you have the option for example by night train from Greece to Switzerland, then go to an Italian port. From there by ferry to Greece.
By train via for example Berlin, Budapest, Belgrade, Sofia to Thessaloniki.
Train connections here: https://rail.cc/en
Peter :)

Didn't completely answered the question, but my understanding is that Copenhagen - Munich - Rome - Ancota or Bari - Athens might be the shortest route (and most exciting!) ||

Fastest likesom lyn: nattog Kobenhavn Basel, by day to Milano, overnight ICN (buy RES in MIlano from machine) along Adria coast- there are many more ferries as the one for IR from nearly every port, they may cost not much more as on IR, as you still have to pay portfee and hi-season supplmt. Still takes 3 natter.., 2 med toget, 1 med faerje.
