Hi, Im wondering is there a direct connection between madrid and porto other than a night train. I have tried looking up trains on this but can't get an answer. Any suggestions even a stopover enroute?

Hi.
Here is a list of all connections from Madrid to Porto. You have always to change once.
One day train connection is available via Vigo.

There isn't any direct connection between Madrid and Porto. There are two possible nighttrains you can use, but if you want to avoid nightrains, you can go via Vigo in the daytime.

Do you want to travel with point to point tickets or do you have a rail pass? :)

Hi.
I hope you bought your Interrail pass here via our railcc partner link: [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] to support the free information on the website and the answers in the forum . If yes, please let me know your order-PNR by personal mail and I can set your profile to PLUS. Thank you! :)
Otherwise please ask the company where you have the rail pass from for support, as we are not the support website of other companies... thank you as well... :)
You have to pay for both trains: https://rail.cc/en/interrail/madrid-to-porto

Hey,

quick question! Where can I see that I have to pay for both trains, Peter?
As far as I can see, I don't need to pay for an extra reservation on this train: https://rail.cc/en/train/madrid-to-porto is that right?

Sorry, I guess this is a real newbie-question ;)
Thanks,
Lisa
