Interrailing newbie: 15 days in Europe

Hi everyone,

I'm going interrailing for 15days in mid July. I have been wanting to do it for a long time and have finally taken the plunge to go it alone. I have a few places in mind but I am really open to anything and I am struggling to narrow it down to a set few destinations however I really want to squeeze in as much as possible. I know that I will be starting in Paris as I plan to get the Megabus over from London on the 11th as my interail pass starts on the 12th.

Any advise would be on nice hostels and any unique things to do would be amazing as I am very much new to this.
