Hi all,

Will soon be booking my interail pass for the summer (mid-July) :D . I think I will be going for the 10 days within 22, is this realistic?

I am starting in Berlin with my final destination going to be Zagreb. Can anyone suggest a route to go for? With the usual suspects of Prague, Vienna, Bratislava inc, will only be looking to spend at most 2 days in each city.

Would appreciate any help.

Thanks

Hi.
You have several options, but I suppose you want to travel more in the East.
Berlin - Prague - Krakow- Vienna - Budapest - Brasov - Bucharest - Belgrade - Bar (Montenegro)
Then by bus (not expensive) via Dubrovnik to Split. Mostar - Sarajevo - Zagreb
Just as an idea... of course there are a lot of other options available.
All schedules for this route are here: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
And please buy your Interrail pass in the railcc shop [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] to support the free information we offer. Thank you! :)
Peter :)

As we are travelling Eastern Europe do you think it would be financially beneficial to buy singles rather than the 10 in 22 pass?

Mmmmh... maybe buy a 5 in 10 for the beginning - and do the rest by point to point tickets.
But it's a calculation for which I currently do not have the time to do for you. Maybe someone else?!? Sorry. :)
