Hi!
I'm new to this forum and pardon me if my english isn't so good.

My friends and I would like to to make a trip through Europe this summer and our destinations are: Lisbon-Sevilla-Granada-Valencia-Barcelona. Our plan is to start from Munich on 25. July at 10:50pm and reach Paris at 9am. From there we should take a TGV to Irun that arrives at 6:20 pm and then jump on the Sud Expresso night train. Our problem is with these last two routes. We would like to buy the reservation for these trains online (I've read that on the RENFE-site we can buy the ticket for the Sud Expresso but it only shows the full prize, not the interrail-discounted one), and until now we haven't found any site that could help us… The same problem comes with the night train from Lisbon to Madrid that we have to take to reach Sevilla.

Maybe someone of you might help us. The problem is only with these routes, because if we have to buy the reservations in Paris - having only three hours before departure from there and no one who can assure us that there will be seats available - would be a tragedy. :?:

Hi!

You can try to get your reservations online at [ux]https://rail.shop/acprail/reservation[/ux]
Anyway, the standard way to make train reservations is still directly at a train station. However, this does not have to be the station of departure, you can also make these reservations at a train station abroad, for instance in Italy, Germany, Austria...
If you are going to make these reservations at your station in Italy be prepared that it might not work at the first try since not all staff are familiar with such kind of exotic reservations. ;)

Thanks a lot, Flo, for the advice! :D I've seen that we can buy most of the reservations on the railcc shop, I just have to wait until the dates of our travel are available! but now we have another problem... how do I buy the reservations for the TGV (especially Paris-Irun and Barcelona-Paris), using the Interrail discount? On the french railroads site I can see my beloved train, but I cannot apply the discount, only the EuRail one! It's the same thing or there is something that I'm doing wrong?

Thank again, by the way! :)

TGV reservations are also available at rail.shop/acprail/reservation; what french railroads website are you referring to? Url please :)

TGV reservation for Paris-Irun is available on [ux]https://rail.shop/acprail/reservation[/ux] - but you have to fill in Paris and Hendaye.
Hendaye is the border station in France. To Irun it is just 1km, less than 5 minutes.
It is no problem to just stay in the train until Irun with your reservation, as the price is of course the same - just the system can not handle it that the reservation ends in Spain instead of France.

Wow, cool! :D I didn't know that I could select the route from Paris to Hendaye! Now there's only one reservation missing, the one from Barcelona to Paris, and after we've checked it, our Interrail may start! :)

The french-railroad site is this (sorry, I didn't specify it): voyages-sncf ( [ux]https://rail.shop/sncf[/ux] )

Es gibt auch noch eine DE-sprachige sektion hier unten-there is also the German language part underneath.
For LIS-SEV: unless you also want to see Madrid etc, I advice to take a direct bus-for both trains it will also cost you 20 eur in extra fees and the bus is not much more. If you have the x days in y IR you can better spend the day for another trip. Same for SEV-Gra: this is a rather awkward train trip-direct buses run about ev 2 hrs.

Why would be Sevilla - Granada an awkward train trip? There are several direct trains each day!
Also, why would I take a bus when I can take the night train and travel while sleeping.
