Hi all, how is the Malmö Berlin night train like? Is it safe for a family to take? Im pregnant and travelling with two under school aged kids.

Hi!

I have been using this train twice, the last time in August last year. There are only six bed couchettes available however if you want you can book a whole cabin for yourself.
The train was quite full, mainly with backpackers/tourists, and in my cabin there was also a young mother travelling with her two kids. To me it seemed that they enjoyed the trip and there were no problems. There are toilets and washrooms (no showers) available at the end of the carriage.
I would recommend to book the lower berths to avoid having to climb up the ladder to the top berths.

ON the ferry you cannot use the toilets in the vagons-for obvious reasons, but have to go out into the ship.
But the route/timings has changed and now it takes more hours.
