Hello!

My husband and I are travelling from Munich to Venice on the City Night Line train in May. We have Eurail Global Passes, and I bought reservations for both of us for couchettes in a 4-person room using your step-by-step instructions (75 euro total). I got the confirmation email from DB Bahn and printed out our tickets.

I just realized that my husband's name is not on the ticket (I didn't have to enter it to buy the reservations), which I thought was strange. I searched around on DB Bahn's website, and it looks like they are saying we need to make a separate, regular seat reservation in addition to the couchette. Do you know if this is right? I'm super confused.

Thank you SO much for any info!

Hi Alison.

It's enough to have only your name on the reservation for the two couchettes. No need to have your husbands name on it (or to reserve extra seats or something like that).
The only important thing is that the reservation shows that you reserved two chouchettes.
So relax and enjoy your trip to Venice! :)

If you bought your reservation ( [ux]https://rail.shop/acprail/reservation[/ux] ) or Eurail pass ( [ux]https://rail.shop/eurail[/ux] ) via our partner links, you directly supported our work. Thank you. :)
