Hello!
I am trying to book an overnight train from Cerbere to Mulhouse on Saturday July 5, 2014. Unfortunately, when I try to book these reservations online, and on the phone, the representative says those trains have stopped running. Does anyone know if this is true/have any alternative night trains in this area?

Hi,

according to the official PDF timetable the train is running on 5 July: http://www.intercites.sncf.com/resources/LigneFiche/330/FichePdf.pdf
However, SNCF is noted for including trains very late into their sales system, so that could be a reason why the train is not showing up on [ux]https://rail.shop/sncf[/ux] or in the reservation system.
You could only wait some time and then try to book the reservation again as soon as the train is listed on rail.shop/sncf. I did not receive any information about the withdrawal of the train.

Thanks for your quick response! I have checked the sncf website and the train does appear the following week, the week before, the day before, and the day after...do you know if the train is simply not running on 5 July? We are trying to book our reservations within the next week. Thanks!

I dont know. Like I said before, the train is listed on the official PDF timetable but it could be that timings will be adjusted due to construction works and therefore the train is not yet included in the system. Maybe this is also due to the implementation of new schedules on the 6th...I am sorry, cant give you more information...you will have to wait and see.
