Hi
I made a mistake when planning our schedule in that the passes needs to be valid on departure day even if it does not count as one travel day - thus I ordered our interrailpasses to be valid on night train arrival day and not departure day.
Well. This is the train from Copenhagen to Basel, according to time table arrival in munich is after midnight. Can I then order one ticket to Munich which i pay outside interrail and then one inside interrail for which i only book seating/sleeping couchette? What is my chances of having access to the sleeping couchette the first part of the trip even if we only book seating for that part? (travelling with kids).
(Seems stupid to not use it that day since I then have 3 days with a swiss pass which means that if I does not use the interrail pass the first day we could have ordered it to be valid after switzerland... I guess you learn by your mistakes :| :( but this one seems really stupid.

well, this is the passess I won from the swedish SJ-facebook-site, but anyway, I think I might be home anyway - the Swedish railcompany have agreed to change date on the passes giving us a possibility to instead pay the CNL to Basel, then travel with Swiss Flexi Passes and after that activate our interrail passes, this way we gain a couple of days and I think we can managed to ge our schedule to work!

We will book them soon, only need to go through the schedule again to make sure we are booking on the correct days :D
Also have on my to-do to book glacier express as soon as possible.
