I'm in Nijmegen NL for business. I would like to take the night trains from Amsterdam to Prague, Prague to Budapest, Budapest to Zurich, and then Zurich to Amsterdam. Sleep most of the night, try and hit the highlights of each city during the day. I've been to Praha and Zurich before. Thinking of a day trip train cruise in the Alps while at Zurich for the day. It would be Apr 17-Apr 20.

A few basic questions.
Which eurorail pass would I need to get to complete the trip I have laid out?
Would I need to leave from Dusseldorf on the Amsterdam to Prague night train to get my country count down to 5 so I can use a Select pass?
Does the night train from Praha to Budapest count Slovakia as a traversed country?
Anything very important other than reservations I need to know?

Thanks for your time.

Hi!

This is easter weekend so trains are likely to be full already, I just checked and on the Amsterdam - Prague trains no more sleeper berths are available and the Prague - Budapest train seems to be full completely.

In general, regular tickets probably would be a better deal for such a route:
Amsterdam - Prague at [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux] or [ux]https://rail.shop/nsinternational[/ux]
Prague - Budapest at [u]https://rail.shop/cd[/ux]
Budapest - Zurich at [ux]https://rail.shop/mav[/ux]
Zurich - Amsterdam at [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux] or [ux]https://rail.shop/nsinternational[/ux]

To over this route with a Eurail pass you would need a Global Pass since you would travel through seven countries overall.
