HI! this will be my first time inter-railing and need a realistic route :D

I will be using the 15 day continuous pass

I was thinking along the lines of Amsterdam - Berlin - Prague - Krakow - Budapest - Vienna

is this too much?? was also thinking of having a budget of £750 (excluding ticket price)

any help, recommendations appreciated, thanks! :D :P :) :D 8)

Hi!

The route is easily doable. You will need seat reservations for going to/from Krakow, these can be bought at a station, for instance in Berlin or Prague.

How long do you want to travel overall? The same trip would be also possible with just the 5in10 ticket which would be much cheaper.

To support the free information and the forum on railcc, please be fair and buy your official Interrail pass via our railcc partner link: [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]
Thank you! :)

thanks for the reply, was thinking of travelling for 15 days!

was also thinking of going onto vienna / venice ?

also does the Sleeper 3 | 3-bed-compartment | private washing facility | 2nd class for EUR 40 mean per person or is that the price for the compartment?

cheers for the help

OK. Well, if you look at the prices of the 5in10 and the 15days pass you will see that there is quite a big difference between the two. Your initial route only has 5 trips which would be perfect for the 5in10 pass; if you also want to go to Venice you could book the first or the last trip (Amsterdam - Berlin or Vienna - Venice) separately and should be still cheaper off compared to buying the 15 days pass.
You can look for fares Amsterdam - Berlin at [ux]https://rail.shop/nsinternational[/ux] and [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux] for Vienna - Venice at [u]https://rail.shop/oebb[/ux] or [ux]https://rail.shop/omio[/ux]

Reservation fares are always per person unless otherwise stated.
