First of all, sorry to bore you with the same ol´question, but I can´t seem to find any new first-hand experiences.

Me and my wife are going from London to Paris the 24. of Mai (We both have Interrailpasses)
My question is this: Which is the cheapest option to cross over to france?
I read something about hitching a ride in Dover, but I can´t seem to find anyone who has done it newly?
To me it looks like the Megabus options is the cheapest, but what are you opinions?

Thanks for the help
David

Hi David.
Here are the options: https://rail.cc/blog/london-to-paris-by-eurostar-train-bus-or-ferry//
The option asking drivers for a lift isn't possible anymore as they have to register their passengers at their ticket purchase. So either by special price Eurostar (and let your Interrail pass begin in Paris - if you don't travel the UK before), by ferry or bus.
Thank you for supporting railcc with your Interrail pass purchase via the railcc website! :)
Peter :)

The very cheapest is Bus[coach] and even forego the passday to use the trains and all the hassle of finding your way in/out of distant ferryports, now mainly meant for trucks.
Try eurolines or IDbus or megabus-the most basic and most times the heapest, by day or overnight.

Hi David,

what kind of InterRail ticket do you have?
Personally, I would use the ferry, however going by bus may be an option, especially if you have a Flexi pass and want to save one of your travel days. The buses take the ferry to cross the Channel as well so you would have the ferry trip experience anyway.
Depending on your overall route the Harwich - Hoek van Holland ferry might be interesting as well: https://rail.cc/blog/from-london-to-amsterdam-with-the-dutchflyer/
