Hey Guys,

Looking at picking up a Eurail Global Pass, I've done a bit of research and it appears to suit what I'm after.

Here's what I'm doing:

Zurich-Zagreeb (Aware there will be a res. fee here)
Debrovnik-Budapest
Budapest - Prague
Prague- Krakow
Krakow-Berlin
Berlin-Zurich

As far as I understand it the only times I should be getting hit with reservation fees / extra charges is the Zurich to Zagreeb bit? Am I right here, or have I missed something?

Hi!

# Zurich - Zagreb: Compulsory reservation for the night train: https://rail.cc/en/night-train/zurich-belgrade-en-415/160
# Dubrovnik - Budapest: There is no railway line serving Dubrovnik. You could go by bus to Split, then to Budapest via Zagreb: https://rail.cc/en/eurail/dubrovnik-to-budapest
# Budapest - Prague: No reservation required
# Prague - Krakow: Seat reservation required for trains to/from Poland, ~3€
# Krakow - Berlin: Seat reservations required; free for domestic connections in Poland, ~4€ for international connections to Germany (there is a direct IC Bus which you could use from Krakow to Berlin)
# Berlin - Zurich: Free with day trains

Buy only the lowest nr of travel days. use it for trips for/via DE,CH/AT. Pay locally less as a passday for other trips. use direct bus Zag-Dubr-unless you are a 123% trainbuff.
