Hello,

I've been looking at the following route which takes regional trains from Barcelona to Nice:

https://rail.cc/en/eurail/barcelona-to-nice

I wanted to look on the websites to confirm that these trains still exist but I am finding it very difficult. The Spanish regional train website for RENFE is not entirely in English so I cannot search and the train from Cerbere to Perpignon is not showing up on the TER website.

Does anyone have any advice for how to research regional train times??

Thanks!

HI Peter,

I have not travelled by train in Europe before. I've noticed that some of the connections between trains only leave about 5 minutes to catch the next train.

I am very concerned I will miss these connections, so I wanted to see other train times in the event I do miss the train.

Can you please comment on how easy it is to transfer trains? Are they usually located adjacent to one another or will I have to go searching around?

Many thanks!

Hi.
You can never preview if a train is in delay or not.
Usually you should be able to easily get the next connection as well as Perpignan is not that big as railway station (it is the one with only 5 minutes transfer time).
If you want to be absolutely save, use the connection starting one hour earlier - with it you always have enough time to change trains.

Thank you, Peter :)
