Hi,

I was wondering if they are comfortable for long people. We're on a tight budget, so we were looking into just taking seats, but is that feasable for long people?

Hej,

unfortunately I dont know the exact length of the berths, but since the loading gauge is a bit wider than the standard european one and from my own impression I think that they might be just ok even for tall people - but no guarantee! ;)
If you are thinking about a longer overnight journey you could go for a couchette in Sweden - personally I prefer to lie down during the night; in Norway the journey times of the night trains are rather short, so you might just get a regular seat reservation - although the sleepers are really comfortable.
The seats on Norwegian night trains just recline a little but you have footrests and a (small) blanket, earplugs, eyemask and inflatable pillow are provided.

But the main question is: is the seat tall enough for a 2.00 meter tall person to have a headrest at all? Or will he have to keep his head up for the whole leg..

I would assume that it will be ok but I am only 1,81m or so tall...I will have a look if I find a good photo from last summer...
