Hello - first timer here! Thank you in advance for any help as I have never traveled to Europe.

I am traveling from Amsterdam to Hamburg with one connection at Osnabrück Hbf. My trip is scheduled for Monday, April 7th. My transfer time is 17 minutes and I arrive at platform 11 and depart for Hamburg from platform 3. Is 17 minutes enough time? I am slightly worried I won't make my connection, so I am hoping someone can put my worries to rest. I don't know if it matters or not, but my first train is IC 241 and my second train is IC 2022.

Thank you so much for the help, I am looking forward to my journey!!

THis is a very lazy connection.
Note that this station has 2 levels, you have to go up from lower till higher.
With rail pass you also do not have to worry-as you do NOT need any REServations (but can do is your especially anxious-at extra cost) and can simply take any other train in case of heavy delays-or in fact an earlier 2nd train that was heavily delayed before........
IN hte train nr 1 are leaflets showing times and connections-plus tracks and they will also announce that just before enter OSna-in English after they have done it auf Deutsch.

Thanks for the reply. I already booked tickets, made reservations, etc. I was simply asking if 17 minutes is usually enough time at Osnabruck to go from platform 11 to platform 3? I have never traveled by train EVER, and I have NEVER been to Europe, so I am asking experienced travelers for help.

Thanks!

Just for future bookings: on this route you can book the tickets from three different operators (Bahn, NS, B-Europe). The connections, schedules and trains are the same - but ticket prices may vary:
Bahn - German national railways: [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux]
NS - Netherlands national railways: [ux]https://rail.shop/nsinternational[/ux]
B-Europe: international tickets of Belgium national railways: [ux]https://rail.shop/beurope[/ux]
All three offer e-tickets. Book online and print out at home. Easy and secure.
Peter :)
