Hello there!
Since this is my first post here on railcc, I hope that I make my post correct :)

I'm thinking about doing an Interrail trip this summer to visit friends across Europe. They're in Berlin, Jena och Naples and I want to visit some cities to while travelling. I would be really happy if someone got an advice about my route and could help me.
I will start in Copenhagen, Berlin (2 days), Jena (3-4 days), Prague (1-2 days), Munich (1 day) Zurich OR Wienna (1-2 days), Milan (1-2 days) and then Naples (3-5 days). Is this route good and possible? Advice to change some cities? I looked at the Interrail website for timetables and found quite good connections but couldn't find anything between Milan and Naples - even with a stop in Rome. Is it some exception?

Again, would be so happy for some advice and help! :)

Hej!

Looks like an interesting route which wont be too complicated to do. Did you already think about what ticket you want to buy - I assume the 10in22 would be the one to go for, however you then might add a few additional stops or make day trips together with the friends you are visiting to make best use out of your 10 travel days.

For schedules, have a look here https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route and if you dont find the connection you are looking for here https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route

Milano - Napoli is served by several trains each hour, many of them direct trains. These are Frecciarossa high speed trains requiring a 10€ reservation.
Take care to use Frecciarossa trains as the Italo trains running on the same line do not yet accept InterRail.

If you want to visit Wien, you should travel Praha - Wien - Zürich - Milano; if you opt for Zürich, go Praha - München - Zürich - Milano.

From Zürich to Milano you could think about going this scenic route: https://rail.cc/blog/zurich-milano-albula-bernina/
This would be also possible when staying in Wien: Take the night train from Wien to Zürich and get off at Sargans to join the scenic route.

Hello again!
I'm starting to do my reservations for my travels at the moment. The route will finally be Copenhagen-Berlin-Jena-Prague-Strasbourg-Zurich-Milan-Naples. My only problem is that I would like to go by the Bernina Express or something similar between Zurich and Milan but I can't find the trains between the cities. I find train connection the whole way Zurich-Chur-St Moritz-Tirano but when I'm looking for a connection between Tirano and Milan the site show me options like 20 hours and 7 changes... :( I want to go the sunday 15 of june and leave from Zurich around 12.00.

Would be so happy if someone could help me! :D

You find links to timings in the blog post above.
Trains from Tirano to Milano are operated by Trenord and do not show up in the regular schedule planners, either check the links in the blog or look at the Trenord website.

Thank you! :)
