We are a family of three visiting from Hawaii, hoping to go by train from Malaga, Spain, to Cannes, France, in early February. First-timers by rail, so not sure how or where to start, or if it's even feasible. We are willing to make connections, and even an overnight stop if necessary. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :D
When I try to make reservation on Point to Point Tickets, after requesting Malaga to Caanes, it gives me the message No product matches search criteria. :(

Hi!
You will have to split your trip into two or three legs at least.
For instance, you could go from Malaga to Barcelona first and stay there overnight.
Tickets are available either in the online shop of our partner ACP at [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] (we get a little comission to keep the servers running) or directly at the website of spanish railways RENFE.
Then, the second leg would be Barcelona - Cannes; you can buy tickets for this connection at [ux]https://rail.shop/omio[/ux]
If you intend on travel other routes by train in Spain or France as well you might think about getting a EuRail Regional Pass for France and Spain https://rail.cc/en/eurail-select-pass but I for just this trip you should be better off with single tickets.
If you dont mind adding a further overnight stop it might be even cheaper to travel from Barcelona to France using regional trains via the Portbou - Cerbere border crossing, stop somewhere in France (for instance Perpignan, Nimes,...) and then go to Cannes.
Tickets for the regional trains can be bought on the spot directly at the station; for the last leg to Cannes you could again look at rail.shop/sncf
