Hey all,
I am from Portugal and living now for a couple of months in Germany, is it possible for me to get an inter-rail pass to travel around Germany?
The questions are how is the country of residence checked and can I buy a country ticket for the same country if not a resident.
All the best,
R

Hi.
The country you lived the past six months, is your country of residence: https://rail.cc/en/how-to-interrail
If you did not lived the past six months in Germany buy a Portuguese Interrail pass (=country of residence Portugal). This is possible either on the recommended website, if you want to support our work - or if you don't want to support us, for example at a railway station.
Peter :)
