have a look at the forum Spain. There you will find a night train connection from Barcelona to Paris.

for train schedules, use this website:

maybe it is even cheaper to fly back from Spain with Easyjet or Ryanair... okay, it is not ecological.

if you want to avoid the Eurostar Paris-London (supplement of 65 EUR), you have to travel Paris - Calais (France) - ferry - Dover (UK) - London

the ferry is about 5 EUR ... also have a look at the topic ferry connections

At the end of my trip last summer, we left barcelona about midday, took a train to the border (Cerbere), took the night train to Paris. Next morning a very fast train to Calais (we had to go on the tube through to the other side of Paris also). Then hopped on the Sea France Ferry for £7.50. Arrived in Dover about 2 or 3.

So just over a day...
