I am a 1st class InterRail pass holder and trying to make a seat reservation for travel from Amsterdam to Paris by Thalys line. When the reservation booking was almost finished I realized that the reservation was going to be delivered to my home. It is so bad that I have no other options suck like e-ticket or home print ticket. I have no time to wait for this reservation to be delivered because I am leaving the day after tomorrow. Did I miss something that can enable me to collect e-ticket? Thanks a lot for your help.

Hi.
I hope you purchased your Interrail pass via the railcc partner link [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] , to support our work and all the free information on railcc. Thank you to be fair! Let me know your order ID beginning with AA by personal mail, so I can set your profile to premium. :)
No, you did not missed something. You have the following options: ticket by letter, station or phone - have a look here and scroll down: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/thalys/41
But you can use of course free connections (will take longer, but save you the money): https://rail.cc/en/interrail/amsterdam-to-paris

Thank you Peter for your kind reply. I purchased InterRail pass from the interrail website, because I came into railcc only when I got the pass and plan the travel.
The link https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/thalys/41 tells that I can Buy the reservation at a railway station. That means not from railcc right?
I may consider you suggestion to take the free connections.
Thanks again and happy Christmas!

Hi.
Oh okay. Sad to hear. As railcc is not the support of other companies. :|
The link tells: from railcc as paper ticket by letter, at the station or by phone. Of course the reservation might be sold out at the station if you travel peak time. Then you have the option of the free connections we list here: https://rail.cc/en/interrail/amsterdam-to-paris

Hi hi,
can I really buy reservations for TGV Duplex/Lyria and Thalys in ReiseZentrum? I was ordering these seat reservations for both trains (found one for 5.50 GBP on SNCF UK, but shipping not possible, and 13 EUR on railcc shop, again, no time for delivery), I am travelling as of tomorrow.
How much fee is to be expected if I reserve from ReiseZentrum? Or for example another Verkaufstelle.
I regret to just discover this reservation just today....

Hi!
What is your planned route?
Lyria reservations are not available at DB or ÖBB terminals...
Also, DB does not sell any Thalys tickets anymore, I assume this also includes reservations for IR.
... :/
Thalys reservations are available at the Thalys Store&More at Cologne Main Station (opposite the main entrance).

So, from Brussels Midi - Paris Nord. I was planning to hop on regular trains instead, but 4 times transit is too much :| (with carrying big luggage in mind).
As for France - Switzerland, I learn I could use the route Paris EST - Strasbourg (TGV 2369) - and then continue with a TER until BASEL SBB. This way I could avoid the expensive 20++ Euros reservation costs (direct train with Lyria from Gare de Lyon), but as low as 5,50€ (according to RE UK) and 13€ (railcc shop).
I have also decided not to use that abo forfeit (or something) trick, I really can't imagine the risk :D
Since I start my journey tomorrow, thus don't have time for shipping. I am gonna try to stop by Thalys Store&More like you've mentioned. It's informed they also do SNCF tickets.

Hmm...you might want to check Bruxelles - Lille (either via Gent - Kortrijk or via Ath - Tournai) and a TGV from there.
Also check for Lyria reservations at the station in Paris (either upon arrival at Gare du Nord or at any other station which is convenient for your) as the regular reservation at a station should be only 11€ - but sometimes long queues are to be expected... :o
A friend of mine used the Abo Forfait twice without problems in September...

Hey, that's interesting route! By that you also mean using Abo Forfait 2. Klasse from Lille to Paris, right? I just tried booking, it even tells me seat numbers.
:D :D now I am tempted once again. But would you recommend buy it from now and print it or just wait until I arrive in Lille Flandres and buy it from an automat (yellow one, innit?). I mean, is it guaranteed that there are seats around 10 minutes before departure?
Gee. I haven't really played dumb tourist before in caseI get some problems with it. But, why would I pay another 30€ while I hold a rail pass already :P

Hej...well, you can also try to get a regular reservation for the TGV for 6€ - but if that aint working and SNCF wants to offer you a reservation for 15/18€ (or none at all, making you pay for an on board reservation of 18€) then I would try the Abo Forfait solution...happened to me back in February 2012 when I was getting home from Portugal and wanted to use the Paris - Nancy TGV - got an Abo Forfait reservation and even asked the staff at the platform if it was ok - no problem. And after all it is christmas tomorrow.. :)
I think it is no problem to wait until you are in Lille...but I have no experience with French holiday trafic...
