I am planning my Interrail trip for May-June with a friend. I’m from Greece, Athens. We decided to buy 4X22 days pass and we want to visit cities in Italy, France and Spain. We thought about visiting the following cities:

Barcelona (fly Athens to Barcelona) – San Sebastian - Valencia - Alicante - Granada - Malaga - Gibraltar - Cadiz - Seville - Barcelona - Perpignan - Marseille - Naples - Palermo - Catania - Crotone - Taranto - Bari - Patra. Do you think this is possible within 44 days?
I've searched my route and the first problem i had was the train connection between San Sebastian Valencia?

Thank you!

REthink if IR is good for ES. And change the route-anti clock, Note that the whole way Cadiz-Algesiras-Mlg is NO tren, solo bus. IR often is a nastyu thing for ES due to endless REServaciones. Advance buy often works out cheaper-but sets you in a preset route/timing

Hi!

Yeah, the route is definitely feasible, however I would firstly recommend just to use 10in22 InterRail tickets as these are much cheaper and would still be sufficient to complete your planned route.

As already mentioned you will need additional seat reservations for almost every train in Spain so plan carefully...
There are at least two daily Alvia services (6,50€ reservation) from San Sebastian to Zaragoza (continuing to Barcelona).
