BARCELONA - BERN / BASEL: night train connection

hey hey... :)

there is no direct connection from Barcelona to Basel ... you have to change the train in Bern...! :)

if you use the [b]Elipsos train-hotel[/b] you have to pay the following prices:

- normal sleeping seats: 45 EUR
- tourist class (4 beds per cabin): 69 EUR
- club class (double bed): 105 EUR

It's a very fast connection:
Dep. Barcelona Estacion de Franca: 20:15
Arr. Bern: 08:49


otherwise the best way is maybe Barcelona via Port Bou to Marseilles, then a night train up to Strasbourg and then go on to Basel !! :)

if you want to go from Basel in the direction of Cologne, Hamburg, Berlin or somewhere in Northern Europe (Scandinavia ... also Netherlands, Poland, ...), don't go to Basel.
Go directly from Strasbourg to Karlsruhe. :)
