hello can i book one way from Ljubljana to Venice. i need 8 ticket on the 10/8/2014

The cheapest ravel route (and also a scenic one) is from Ljubljana to Nova Gorica.
There you use the local bus to the station in Italy: Gorizia
From there by local train to Venice.

Ljubljana - Nova Gorica: EUR 9 - buy at the station in Ljubljana (no reservation possible, no pre-booking required)
Nova Gorica - Gorizia: ~ EUR 1,50
Gorizia - Venice: ~ EUR 12 available at [ux]https://rail.shop/omio[/ux] or Trenitalia - pre-booking time is up to 3 months in advance. But as this is as well a regional train, reservation is not required. Tickets also available at Gorizia station.
