Hi!
No pass, but single tickets (unless you are planning to do other trips by train as well).
You could go for instance from Amsterdam to Munich, then Munich to Venice. All tickets available from Deutsche Bahn at [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux]

Hi.
Please add more details! You posted in the point to point ticket section and ask about a rail pass?!
Add the number of travellers, the date you want to travel, do you want to travel the fastest way, a scenic way, ...?
Schedules for point to point tickets are here. For tickets please follow the blue shopping carts:
https://rail.cc/en/train/amsterdam-to-venice
Thanks, Peter

Sorry for the brevity of my post.
There are 2 adults traveling. We will arrive in Amsterdam in April. We will spend a couple of days there and want to quickly get to Venice. We will then spend about 8 days in Italy ultimately we will want to end up in Taormin. From there we will need to rapidly get to Rome for a departing flight. Once in Italy, we would prefer scenic travel.
Thanks in advance!

Hm, so since you will have pretty fixed travel dates and not many individual trips I would think that you will be best off with pre booked tickets - this will be cheapest but you will be fixed on a certain train and date.
The best connection to Venice would be:
https://rail.cc/en/night-train/amsterdam-munich-cnl-419/11
https://rail.cc/en/train/munich-to-venice
This would leave you with enough time to change trains in Munich (in case of a delayed night train); if the train is on time you can have a short walk around the city.
Then you travel across the Alps to Venice - not the most spectacular route, but still with some nice views. The train carries a restaurant so you can have lunch/dinner on the train as well.
There are many scenic routes on the way down to Sicily...but most of them are off the direct route, so it will depend on how much time you want to invest...
You also may use a night train for the final leg from Taormina to Rome.

Thanks, Flo, that is probably exactly what we will do from Amsterdam to Venice. And, since we are on a tight schedule, we will be able to select specific trains with no problem to get the reasonable rates. Once in Italy, we will probably need the country pass.

Great! Just follow the blue shopping carts in the links I provided above to get to the booking website of Deutsche Bahn.
Within Italy, a One Country Saver Pass actually might be an option, depending on your final route. Keep in mind that the high speed long distance trains require an additional reservation fee of 10€ when you do your calculations.
If you want to remain flexible as long as possible the pass is a good idea, otherwise you might be cheaper off again with regular tickets bought in advance.
For shorter distances it is sufficient to use regional trains and pay as you go as these are quite cheap.
