Hi,
I'm looking at travelling around eastern Europe next July. I am from Australia.
I am looking at the month long pass.
Prague to Krakow
Krakow to Budapest
Budapest to Brasov
Brasov to Bucharest
Bucharest to Belgrade
Belgrade to Zagreb
Zagreb to Bratislavia
Bratislavia to Prague
So my question is. What do you do once you have the Eurail pass how do you book your seat on a train? Do you just turn up at the station and show your Eurail pass? Or is it an online thing?
Thankyou in adavance

Hi.
Some train connections are free, some require a reservation. Just have a look at the schedules:

The common way is to just buy the reservation (if required) at a railway station. Show your Eurail pass and that's it.
It is also possible to buy a reservation in advance for an other country at a station - for example if you know the exact date if you want to use a night train.
To support the free information and the forum on railcc, please be fair and buy your official Eurail pass via our railcc partner link: [ux]https://rail.shop/eurail[/ux]
Thank you! :)
Note that the Eurail Global pass is not valid in Poland - sometimes point to point tickets are cheaper than an Eurail pass, especially in Eastern Europe.
Peter :)
