Hallo!
From my country of residence to neighbouring country
I bought an Interrail Global pass (22 days continuous) for my europe journey.
I have a question about the reservation from my country of residence to neighbor(Germany - France).
I begin my journey from Köln-Paris. I've already read that I can get only 25% discount of the ticket in Germany with Globalpass.
The route Köln-Paris is provided only by Thalys, so I check the time table in Thalys website. But if I proceed to the screen of purchasing, it shows only normal price.

I would like to ask...

・How can I get the discount to buy a ticket with Globalpass??
・And is it also possible to get discount from SNCF's website?? (I mean, I deaprt from Germany but only can be bought by French company)
・I will be 26 years old on 26th October. But I can validate my ticket in advance, then I can use it as youth pass, right? In this case, can I validate in Germany without reservation or boarding? Only validating is possible??

Thanks in Advance!

Hi Akane.

Please just send me by personal mail your oder-ID (PNR beginning with AA) of the purchase of your official Interrail pass via the railcc partner link [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] . Then I can set your profile to Premium for detailed answers.
If you bought your Interrail pass at an other company than railcc, please ask there for support - as it is not fair to buy somewhere else and give an other company your money, but ask here at railcc for free support.

Thalys is a bit special, read here: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/thalys/41
I really don't recommend it as it is expensive! You can use as well slower but free trains saving a lot of money.
